@ Aditya Sharma, You forgot 2 things. firstly how could the SIMI members could come out of the prison? and second is live terrorist is more useful than dead one for strengthening security. Police did make a mistake in not catching them alive. Police finished their job quickly but w/o finding more about hundres of terrorists who have not been arrested yet. more

Police officers in india view postings to jails as demeaning and demoralising. They don't take any.interest except for Kiran bedi who did a marvellous job in tihar jail. Moreover police will not get any income or any benefit for doing their job in jails . Incidentally in uttar pradesh jails police started extortion from prisoners which is deplorable. These are the main reasons for lackadaisical approach of police officers towards jails which had a negative impact on security. They have do their job and shall be repeat shall be made accountable for failures. Let them take care of security of the respective states. more

Making comments in a very comfortable position is easier than facing terrorists head on. If security fails in their duty, it could have been another prime time news. We make mileage in every opportunity with total disregard to our own security. At least for national safety and security issues we should have a common approach or otherwise we will be making holes in our own boat when sailing in troubled waters! more

some politicians are making it an issue. First it is not sure whether he has any arm to fire or pierce. They killed one security.They are proved terrorists.Finally escaped from prison. These are enough to judge that they will go to any extent to kill people.So instead of giving benefit of doubt to terrorists it is better to give the benefit to Indians.well done.Elimination is better than striving hard to keep them alive. more
