All about Long Covid

Hello all, This is Shefali, parents from Ahmedabad and currently working as a junior Doctor in Covid ward in Georgia. USA. My father who I think is a member of this site for long shared this link and I want yo let you know from working With Covid patients is that Long Covid is real. 8% doesnt surprise me at all for India. I will share some research some of which is from this site only. If you have the patience, read it. Otherwise save the link and come back to it in case God forbid you or a loved one needs access.

8 pct of us have contacts suffering from Long Covid

8 pct of our contacts may have developed what is called as long COVID post the 1st and 2nd wave. These are the findings of the circle survey which indicates that some of our contacts who had COVID in 2020 or 2021 have developed permanent conditions like fatigue, brain fog, sleep issues, joint pains, etc. Below is the full report:The Long COVID survey As we conduct the full study on post Omicron effects, we urge each one of you and your loved ones to exercise caution. Though cases are reducing in India and world over, key is to continue to follow the Covid appropriate behaviour. Anyone who is suggesting that herd immunity is the way forward and this is a disease everyone must go through are grossly wrong .If you have experiences about long COVID you'd like to share, please do so. It will help others and could also play a role in determining what interventions and actions are taken by the Government.
