Alternatives to N95 masks?

Again am wondering if it ok to wash N95? Someone mentioned keeping it in paper bag for 5 days and then use. The dispose off. So 2 uses only. more

I was told that we could just put in water with some Dettol, dry it and then reuse it. Not to use any soap or other cleansing agent and not to scrub. more

Disposal is a huge environmental concern. Cannot have solution, the N95 masks, cause another problem. Cloth material may be washed any number of times and provides barrier protection from droplet transmission of virus. Virus uses the droplets as means to get transported over distances, say 2 yards, when originating within someone who is infected, as happens when that person, let us say, sneezes. Environmentally neutral cloth, therefore may be optimised further as an alternative to N95 masks. more
