Amarnath Yatra - lets not be tolerant

Seven Amarnath pilgrims were killed while twelve including three policemen were injured after militants attacked a yatri bus and a police party in Anantnag along the Jammu-Srinagar Highway in south Kashmir on Monday Night.

Killing pilgrims is the worst form of terrorism. Hope We as a country will act with strong resolve so this doesnt happen again.

These are act of utter cowardice and deserve condemnation. Killing innocents is no display of bravery. Brave are those who despite such situation are visiting these historic places of worship. While these culprits if not today, will be brought to books. Indian ARMY is a professional combat force and will find them. more
When our Govt. is allowing concession and money for muslims travelling to Mecca , why not they extend this to Hindus? But, why should they allow killing of pilgrims? Is this the gift to Hindus by the Govt.? more
We cannot be in obliging mood to Muslims fundamentalists, as well as moderates, if they exist. They have opted to live in secular India and thus have to mellow their outlook. The other option for them is to leave India and settle in some fundaments Muslim Country. Under strict instructions from Central Government, the state government must provide shelters with proper facilities for the pilgrims, since it is a regular ritual every year. Provisioning of security is the basic responsibility of the state Government. There is no excuse now. more
From reports available, it seems to be a total failure of the security arrangements. The Government must take strict action against those who allowed such a serious security lapse. more
