Amazon's Lie
Amazon Courier guys have a bad habit. IF they cant deliver a package by the promised date, they simply lie and say we tried, receiver wasn't available and we will try it tomorrow. This outright lying doesn't work with the reputation of multinational company. more

Yes this is correct and I have experienced the same from their delivery boy but they generally deliver next day. After all their prices have becomes one of the most competitive for last 6 months and overall service is really good. So I still prefer to order from Amazon unless I am getting better deal from eBay or snapdeal. more

I would also like to apprise members of the scam run by Amazon in the name of their Great Indian Festival Sale. One of the products advertised in their sale ad last week was a Power Bank of brand PNY for Rs. 199/-. But actually the price of this product on the Amazon app at 8:30 AM the same day was Rs. 1259/- (instead of 199/- as promised in the ad). This is not a small difference. It's more than 6 times the price in the ad. That's not all. I had bought the exact same product from Amazon itself for Rs. 949/- in May 2015!!! Is this Amazon's idea of a sale?? They're scamming us with impunity & we are stupid to let them get away with it over & over again. I urge fellow members to boycott Amazon so that they're taught a lesson. If you do still want to buy from Amazon, at least check out comparative prices on other websites. more

I believe this is routinely done by Blue Dart courier whose services are availed by Amazon. Many times happened with me too. more

I've had the exact same experience with Amazon thrice & have now stopped buying from them. I agree with Mr. Goel only partially. Yes, the Indian mindset does need a lot of improvement. Having said that, let me point out that other e-tailers also have Indian employees & they don't seem to face the same problems that Amazon's delivery service does. more
