An Appeal to PM from Middle Class Citizens

Sir,
We had voted BJP to overwhelming majority in 2014 hoping for Achche Din promised by you. After 4 years we are totally disappointed. Please note that common man is concerned about what affects his daily life and not about development projects in the country. We regret to bring it to your kind attention the steps taken by government which have adversely affected the citizens and request you to take corrective action before the Code of Conduct kicks in for 2019 General Election.
1. Remove 18%GST on members contribution towards common expenses in a cooperative housing society. There was no service tax so why 18%GST?
2. Restore the interest rate of SCSS2004 scheme to 9.3% retrospectively from April 2015.
3. Remove Long Term Capital Gains Tax.
4. Remove the provision of input tax credit.
5. Reduce GST rates for end consumer.
6. Government should stop interfering in trade and business.
7. Stop tax terrorism through show cause notices under sections which provide for jail terms.
We sincerely hope that you will be able to spare your valuable time to look into these issues and provide immediate relief to middle class citizens. more

Though the Modi Government has not fulfilled all its promises, yet it contributed a lot for the development of the country as a whole. more
Don't be so disappointed Mr. Mohit Pande. It takes time to set right even a house. India is a big country and it will certainly take some time to set right. Not that every thing good has happened but let us focus on more good things that have happened. Compare with the previous Governments! We need to strengthen hands of a person who has vision for our country rather than pointing what good could not be done. more
True. All sectors under requisite Reforms in these 4 years that need atleast a 5 years period to take the Tracks. more
Some of the points are very good and should be actioned urgently. more
I agree with some of the points from Mr. Pande. Taking GST from co-op societies is looting the common man. An 18% GST on medical health insurance is criminal. It has earned the government lakhs of rupees as every household today carries a policy because of illnesses which a common person cannot afford to pay. On a Rs.12,000/- premium for my policy, I paid Rs.2,200/- as GST. Daylight robbery I say. The rate for Senior Citizen's scheme should be restored to at least 9%, how do senior citizens live if they are widows or widowers living on interest? more
By reducing everything, from where you will get to get protection from Pakistan or China invasion ? Defense forces today do not even have a bamboo stick or Kukri knife to fight, all money has gone to suicide committing farmers. Better to hand over India to USA or UK again & live a slave life. more
