THE BOILING FROG SYNDROME:
Human beings and frogs are the two creatures in nature who have tremendous power to adjust.
Put a frog in a vessel of water and start heating the water. As the temperature of the water rises, the frog is able to adjust its body temperature accordingly. The frog keeps on adjusting with increase in temperature. Just when the water is about to reach boiling point, the frog is not able to adjust anymore. At that point the frog decides to jump out.
The frog tries to jump but is unable to do so, because it lost all its strength in adjusting with the water temperature. Very soon the frog dies.
What killed the frog ??
Many of us would say the boiling water. But the truth is what killed the frog was its own inability to decide when it had to jump out.
We all need to adjust with people, jobs, relationships, and situations every day. But there are times when we need to assess where we are headed to. If we allow anybody to exploit us physically, emotionally or financially, it is most likely that they will continue to do so. The decision to Jump out should be taken well in time before the water reaches its Boiling Point.
Let us jump while we still have the strength….

I don't really want to involve a Baba in this matter. Neither with Ramdev nor against, I strongly believe, it is good for us to not drag a Baba in all aspects of our life with everyday controversies. He surely gave a new dimension of yoga in today's world, which is good. But, Ramdev has no authority to bring back the money already gone out. more

giving more attention to external affairs ? no way. Trust me you will not see any action on that part ever. Talking about difference in Kashmir situation, any strategic move on 370, better situation along LOC : nothing good will be on ground even after 5 years. These are just topics to be highlighted for distraction from our daily basic issues. Not a single penny will come back from Swiss bank. more

I think Modi ji is giving more attention to external affairs (which is good) but not enough to domestic problems. Unless corruption is removed from the system, all investments, local or foreign will be eaten up by the corrupt bureaucrats, politicians and crony capitalists. Why Aticle 370 is not being given urgent attention? Why there should be separate law- making bodies for separate communities? Unification and purification of the country's systems are urgent. more
