Animal Sacrifice and Killing
Animal Sacrifice was banned and made Punishable in India even in Holy Rites . Hindus stopped Sacrifices in Hindu Rites since decades.
But, Muslims are offering and conducting Animal Sacrifice by Killing Cows, Oxes, Bulls on the Pretext of BAKRID MUSLIM FESTIVAL. This is against to the above referred Law Banning Animal Sacrifice.
Lawyers, Advocates, and H'ble Judiciary to PREFER THIS CASE ON SUOMOTU AND ESTABLISH JUSTICE immediately. more

All laws are limited by the knowledge and IQ of the individual or the group writing it, the collective prejudice of the group writing it and the prevailing thought process at that time dictate the laws. Therefore all laws eventually become obsolete and often irrational and illogical, in fact at times even downright stupid with progress in technology and civilization. Scrap the laws. Take for example prohibition. Most state govt are selling liquour, rather in some states they have monopoly. What a hypocrisy. The economy runs on liquour. Rather it supported economy and prevented it from collapsing during covid. So these laws must be totally removed from the constitution and liquour must be transferred to food and checked by FSSAI. Govt also must maint adequate stocks like food grains in FCI godowns of liquor to supply and control prices in case of shortages. It should be available in all grocery stores and sold like chocolates and ice creams. All smuggling will vanish and the corruption with it. No one will die of spurious liquor. Unnecessary govt staff issuing permits and all kinds of corruption in licensing will vanish and govt staff can be redeployed. Economy will improve. So time to accept truth and change with times rather then trying to control others life with personal prejudices. People should mind their own business and do what they like and not poke nose in other peoples private life. more

Agree with Shailendra Kumar (colonel) We should not have laws to ban eating something that culture has allowed them. Eating ones choice is also a personal freedom enjoyed as a privileged citizen of India. Each state has their own eating habits. some places the vegetarians eat fish and some places they do not saying it is non veg. some places they eat eggs and some do not saying it is non veg. However, all countries adopt to their eating habits according to the availability of the food in their habitat whether it is veg or non veg. India is a very vast and complicated country with many cultures and religions and it is very difficult to have one rule for all. more

Article 48 A is in violation of article 14,19 and 21. CHANGE or SCRAP THE LAW, AS SIMPLE AS THAT. Man made laws are not immortal and neither universal. It's not science or scientific laws but subjective inferences. Moreover somebody may call it sacrifice, agnostics may just call it preparation for party food. Some may call it universal immunization program while another may call it utsav. 70 percent of indians are non vegetarians. And probably 20% more would be closet Non Vegetarians. So it is something that is common nutrition. more

Politicians misusing, miscarrying both Articles . Livelihood Environment and Food Preferences do score Prime Place.
