Announcement at stations on Arrival/Depature
The station master's at many station are not informing about the arrival and departure of trains - even which are originating at that station. Especially at Tiruvallur, they are not at all bothered to announce or write in the board & the way they are responding to the passengers are unbearable. They are least bothered to answer the passengers and also sometimes harsh with them. If they are announcing that happens only at the last minute of train arrival at the platform due to which the elderly, disabled, children ladies are forced to run and few instances of hurting themselves happens

Sign displaying the position of bogie (S1, S2 . . . . Etc) should be properly and accurately be displayed.. It will help in not creating last minuite running here and there . . . . more

there is still lack of confidence in various announcements at railway stations.they still EXPECT to arrive the train on certain platform that means they are not always SURE. sometimes the train though has entered the station still the announcement goes on about expected arrival. it is to be noted that no announcement can be heard when trains are entering into railway stations.nobody takes care of it.double decker a/c train (ahmedabad-mumbai)is still not showing on indicators at Anand. the delay running of trains is never announced in time at Anand including when the actual time of arrival passes away. more

At most of stations, train arrival/departures are not being displayed properly duly updating the status. Even, displaying for departure trains also. Coach indication boards are not tallying properly. This is to be concentrated. more

This problem is present in Chennai Central where crowds are milling.They should make announcement about platform atleast 5 mins before arrival of train. more
