Another misleading marketing by Airtel
Airtel send SMS quoted "Share your plan with your family!my plan now lets you add upto 5 members to your postpaid plan to share your free benfits. Click www.airtel.in/myplanfamily "
At an outset it gives a feeling that by clicking the above, the susbscribers can add upto 5 members to share the free benefits available in the tariff plan. However after clicking you get a message quoted as:
"You pick the rental & choose the free benefits that each family member needs. Then include your family in the plan at just Rs. 99 per member and start sharing. This ensures that none of your plan benefits go unutilised & you even save on your family's mobile expenses"
When an extra amount has to be paid for getting the scheme benefits, the point arises as to why the SMS itself do not include Rs. 99/- to be paid for sharing the benefits. Let the subscriber who does not want to pay extra or feel that extra payment may not be economical as compared to the charges being demanded, should not waste their time to browse unnecessary and risk for accidental click. May be again the business lies in misleading the consumers. more

I am in serious distress especially since my B.Sc results of 1985 from Calcutta University has been declined by W.Bengal State & Govt.despite Calcutta High Court Order No.10403(W)of 1989 with a Positive Order dtd:-November 14th 1990 declaring me to have passed B.Sc exams.The ruling party deliberately declined my results and I am totally ruined by such a system whereby Lawyers sucjked my Blood & Money from all corners and ruined my life. The PMO s Office has my case & they should do something by contacting Mamata Banerjee & the Governor Of W.Bengal and compell State Of W.Bengal to Issue my Mark Sheet and Certificate along with a compensation & Daemmarage. more

Dear Mr. Sanjay, Thanks for your keen interest. TRAI is the body which could be approached as they have specified no plan, scheme can be announced with misleading titles. I am planning to meet TRAI shortly and hence seeking views of the members. more
