Another train derailment

While our new rail mantri focuses on bullet trains and transforming railways, Three people were killed and at least nine persons left injured after a Patna-bound train derailed near Manikpur railway station in Uttar Pradesh early this morning. Two of them are said to be serious.

Thirteen coaches of the Vasco Da Gama-Patna Express derailed at 4.18 am after it left the Manikpur station, less than 12 hours after a bolero collided with a passenger train near Lucknow killing four and injuring two.

My question is why is the railways not focusing enough on zero accident policy and deploying resources to it. Despite us voting safety as top priority in budget 2017, seems absolutely nothing has been done. atleast 5-6 accidents have taken place this year. more

Every Railway Station must have BYPASS WAY for other Trains who have no Stop at that Station, This was useful to make traffic less more
secular drink, secular traditions and great work culture of north INdia is partly responsible for such accidents. more
The problem is that we are fast copying others without knowing the reasons of other's betterment, i.e. the resources, conditions, circumstance, facilities and environment they have. There is wisdom saying "Legs should be extended to the size of sheet". more
If you consider your life dear, avoid traveling by trains specially long distance ones. In any case, the fare advantage is long gone for higher class berths. The UN-written agenda is to discourage passenger traffic because we ask too many questions. more
IT SEEMS THAT EVERY THING IN INDIAN RAILWAYS IS GOING WRONG. ON 23.11.2017 PURI HOWRAH DHAULI EXPRESS 12822 WHICH IS A SUPERFAST TRAIN, ARRIVED HOWRAH AT 11.15 PM ( SCHEDULED ARRIVAL 08.20 PM) i. e. LATE BY 3 HOURS . AS THE TRAIN IS A SUPRFAST EXPRESS PASSENGERS HAD TO PAY EXTRA FARE AS SUPERFAST SURCHARGE. WHY RAILWAY WILL NOT REFUND THE SUPER SURCHARGE AMOUNT TO THE PASSENGERS WHO SUFFERED A LOT DUE TO DELAY IN ARRIVAL OF TRAIN. ? more
I think the trains are reaching at destination on right time very very rarely. more
