Is there any positive attitude observed in Railway ministry? any positive response on their operations? just increase in Fare (in name of Premium Trains / Premium Tatkal etc.. & platform ticket etc..). But still the stations and coaches are stinking. more

I find the railways deteriorating than any improvement over time. I feel Mr Suresh prabhu must concentrate on breaking the unionism in the railways and make employees work. Recently, I visited Hospet (Karnataka state) Station where in large number of foreign tourists travel to visit HAMPI. The station was stinking in and around 1/2 km area. There were atleast 10 Lakh mosquitoes in the Platform. No staff was seen including the station master whose cabin was closed. Public announcement not working. The train was late by 15 minutes. The total wait of around 30 to 40 minutes was HELL to say the least. Is this swachh barath for which we are spending crores. I complained on phone to Hubli HQs. No action. The concerned official responsible has to be dismissed and karmacharis penalised for not maintaining cleanliness. IF this is the state of affairs, how do you expect foreign tourists to enter the country. PM Modi's speach overseas is all waste of time of the listeners, if they cannot solve these problems internally for which anyway opposition support is not required. more
