Applaud Rajnikanth for courage of conviction

In the present surcharged political and social climate in Tamil Nadu where emotions are whipped on every issue, it is difficult to speak against the tide.

It calls for considerable courage of conviction to say things in public, which will not be to the liking of fringe groups and people with extreme views.

In such circumstances, it is good that Rajnikanth has condemned the violent behavior of the protestors against the IPL match. Such violent incidents have tarnished the fair image of Tamil Nadu.

While everyone has the right to have views on Cauvery water issue, no one has the right to indulge in violent behavior. Rajnikanth’s views against violence should be applauded and supported.

I agree with Mr Ramamani Sadasivan. We can applaud Rajnikanth`s action, irrespective of the fact that he is pro BJP or benomi of BJP. Generally no one in TN is serious about water issues whether it is that of Kaveri or other. It is all politics and against BJP. The opposition that can not even get a chance to represent a local ward puts all conditions in a way that the ruling party can not easily accept and thereby create a state of restlessness If they are serious about water preservation right now there is a continuous rain in Nellai areas and the water goes waste. Storage provision is not adequate and the surplus water can not be channelized to other areas. Rivers are not linked. The Central Govt. has the responsibility to ensure that the judgement of the supreme Court is implemented in Letter and Spirit but it is dilly dallying in the forceful implementation of the judgement because of Political compulsions ( the Karnataka State Assembly elections due in May 2018.) All the Members of Parliament, both house, should have resigned their Seats and taken to streets in Delhi to press their just demands but, nobody has done that. The protesters must have organised protest against the CM, Ministers and the houses of the Members of Parliament. Both Terrorists and these people alike disturb the public only more
OK No problem. You can applaud Rajnikanth`s acttion. But nobody applauded police violence during jallikattu. Are you justified. more
Politicians representing the State in Delhi have all proved themselves to be "eunuchs" and impotent to present the State's case forcefully with regard to the sharing of Cauvery waters. We have a strong case for firm quantity allotment of water from Cauvery river and the decision has been handed out by the top most court of India. The Central Govt. has the responsibility to ensure that the judgement of the supreme Court is implemented in Letter and Spirit but it is dilly dallying in the forceful implementation of the judgement because of Political compulsions ( the Karnataka State Assembly elections due in May 2018.) The 39 Members of Parliament, elected by the State population should have resigned their Seats and taken to streets in Delhi to press their just demands but, nobody has done that. It is a shame that some fringe politicians in Tamil Nadu are seeking their 2 minutes of Glory by resorting to stopping an event like IPL Cricket, for which some of the youths in Tamil Nadu have been practicing a whole year to show case their talent..!!.. more
REALLY A WELCOME OBSERVATION BY RAJNI BOLD WAY. ALL THESE PARTIES AND FRINGE ELEMENTS COULD DO NOTHING WHEN TWO STRONG POLITICIAN ACTIVE FOR THE LAST FIVE DECADES, BUT NOW EVERY ONE A THUNDER JUST BY AGITATION FOR EACH AND EVERY THING AND EVERY DAY . THE REASON AND SOURCE FOR SUCH A VERY UGLY SICKENING STATE HAS TO BE PROBED BEFORE IT IS BECOMING TOO LATE. more
Violence in any form is to condemned. I appreciate Mr.RajniKanth more
