Apple Arrogance-MacBook Pro & Helpless Ministry of Consumer Affairs

Sl. No. C17SMSAKGVC1 Case ID: 100640958417 1. Bought Apple MacBook Pro for INR 1,29,400 on 16.03.2018 from the the local vendor INFOSRI, Varanasi.(Doc enclosed as attachment). 2. Suddenly in April, 2018 Laptop showed black screen 3. Found on Apple webpage that it is enlisted underbattery Replacement Program (Doc enclosed as attachment). 4. Took it to the Service Centre at Varanasi.(Doc enclosed as attachment). 5. Centre says Battery is OK, problem with Logic Card/ Mother Board.(Doc enclosed as attachment). 6. Asking for about INR 50,000/- for the replacement of Logic Card. 7. Talked & Written to Apple several times but in vain 8. My Laptop is still Brand New, No Rough Use, Minimally used i.e. is also certified by the total duration of the usage of battery 9. In just after 1 Year, how come of such an expensive laptop Mother Board can be damaged. 10. If it is enlisted under Battery Replacement Program, problem could have occured due to this also. 11. Laptop has the substandard/ Faulty Logic Board as per the standard of the Apple. 12. Either Apple should change the whole Unit or the Faulty Logic Board Free of Charge more

Consumer Minister is not helpless. Thanks for your email and read *A most interesting book every library should have and all must read. Author has lived in Canada. Canada and Marshall McLuhan figure a lot in the book. 'Machine shall do for man what Man could not do for himself'.It is no mere utopia. May happen anytime a la McLuhan! A trenchant satire on Western-style democracy as it prevails in India today.Fact and fiction entwine and abrase to sharpen the edge of satire.Regards,Dr.Usha Sharma* *The+Prime+Minister+and+His+Robot+Wife&i=stripbooks-intl-ship&ref=nb_sb_noss * *Click Above* *Kindle &Paperback Editions at Amazon.com* *[image: The Prime Minister and His Robot Wife] * On Mon, May 20, 2019 at 2:03 PM Abhinav Kumar Mishra < connect@localcircles.info> wrote: > more
It is not expected from Apple Computer and they should re-think their stand. more
Most astonishing. Cannot think of a company like Apple literally disowning their product. Either the seller has given you a defective piece or the service centre is not equipped to deal with it. Try to get the eyes and ears of the national media to draw the attention of the company. more
Dear all, I have the worst experience with Apple in USA- Jackson,MS. When I took my laptop ( not getting on) and the tabs ( speaker not working ). The service centre kept it for an hour and indicated no serviceable and rather I should get these now one. I could guess that they have the guidelines to not make the units working but guide them psychologically to purchase new one. more
DEAR ABHINAV BABU,please take guidance from the NATIONAL HELP LINE FOR THE CONSUMERS 1600 11 4000 and proceed .Mean while make a complain to the LOCAL POLICE STATION with all the copies of doc related about this defficiency of service ..Send the acknowledged copy to the SELLING AGENT by SPEED POST with acknowledgement receipt.you may write to the EDITORS of leading NEWS PAPER about this arrogant trader. With regards.B N DAS more
