Apple iPhone7 Plus Pre-booking Delivery Mess

I would like to share my delivery nightmare of Apple iPhone 7 plus phone at Croma Retail Store in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. I had done pre-booking of iPhone 7 Plus 32 GB Black (Invoice No –CAF02A133050000187) on 3rd October, 2016 by paying INR 2000. They assured me to deliver my phone on launch day (7th October, 2016) after 7 PM. Today When I went to their store to collect my phone, they asked me to wait for 15-20 minutes and then they said, iPhone 7 plus stock hadn’t been received from Apple. Even their store manager was making falls claims like iPhone 7 plus was not delivered by Apple all over the India which I confronted and checked with other stores like Reliance Digital, Vijay Sales, Maple etc. All of them had delivered their preorder of iPhone 7 plus with Citibank Credit Card offer of INR 10000. Even I asked store manager to provide some alternate option to resolve my concern because I was losing Citibank offer (which was valid only for 7th October) but he was not ready to help me and asked me to cancel my pre order. This was really disgusting and never expected this kind of customer service from a TATA company. Even I tried to contact their area manager for finding a solution but he didn’t pick up a call and not given any response on my SMS. I came to know from reliable sources that Croma didn’t pick up iPhone 7 plus stock from Apple. This is a complete mess at their level and spoil our overall mood and commitment to welcome a latest gadget from Apple. Instead of accepting their mistake, providing a resolution and compensate my losses of INR 10000, they were shameless and made customer’s experience worst. If they were not able to deliver then why they had taken preorders and played with customer’s emotion. I request all of you to think twice before buying a product from Croma Retail. They are incompetent and don’t know how to serve and deal with customer. more

Croma is a fradulent company. 3 years my brother & I bought a laptop from Croma at Oberoi Mall, Goregaon for Rs 65,000. The demo laptop had sharp high definition images, dolby sound, latest Microsoft Office Professional & Windows 7. The rules at Croma are that only after making the payment one is allowed to open the carton & check the product. We were also told that the Croma technicians will come to our house within 24 hours if there are any hardware issues or Windows or Microsoft Office issues. This warranty was for 1 year. However, the laptop had only Windows Starter which was going to expire after 3 months. There was no Microsoft Office installed. The sound & picture was low & horrible. Opening Device Manager I realised that they had installed all cheap audio, VGA & Adaptor cards. The processor was I3 & RAM was 2+2 DDR2 instead of I7 & 4+4 DDR3 as informed to us during their sales pep talk. When we starting fighting with them they told us to contact their service centre who will change the product & do the install windows & microsoft office. However, their customer service centre representives told us that we have to take the laptop to Vashi (in the rainy season) to get it checked & they do not do house visits. Moreover, Windows & Microsoft Office has to purchased & downloaded online by the customer & they are not liable if the customer is not able to do it. It costed my brother more than Rs 20,000 to install a browser, drivers, windows 7 & Microsoft Office. It would have costed him a lot to change the RAM, Processor, sound card, VGA card & Networking cards. Hence, he did not change it. I lost my Content Writing Contact because I passed the deadline. It took my brother nearly 10 days to install all the softwares. more
