Apple phones are best leased for 2 years
I must say cost of owning an apple phone is 3000 rupees a month or 100 rupees a day.
The product is a fine product when its new and after 2 years they generally become pieces of junk.
The batteries dont charge or decline rapidly, the volume goes down by 70%, the ringers stop working and in some cases the ghost problem comes.
I seriously urge everyone to consider this before buying an apple. Its a fine product when its young but it ages rapidly and has to be replaced in 2 years.
Not sure what role could BIS play in strengthening and fixing this but they should.
Others please share your experience. I am moving over soon over to a samsung or one plus

Its not a problem for those who can afford to meet the demands of the manufacturers of the products of such high ends only to satisfy their ego, otherwise, there are lots of smart phones available in the market at much cheaper prices to meet one's requirements which could be owned on the principle of use and throw after attaining certain age by the affluent category of users without any impulse for monetary loss. These products give excellent services. more

First of all mobile technology is changing very fast say every 2-3 years and new models will come in the market.Hence your decisions will be based on your financial capacity and the usefulness required by you. more

My personal experience with iPhone is, it doesn't last for long. Comparatively, Android phones are much better. more

Since the mobile phone is a part of our daily life (24x7x365), better not go for impulsive buying. It is said that who knows the product for quality goes for the cheaper one. more

May be the iPhone being sell in India are duplicate or different quality. I am a regular user of Apple products but all products I bought from USA. Didn't find any issue even after using more than 5 yrs. My iPhone is more than 5yrs old but didn't have any issue. Definitely battery backup getting lower... no any other s/w or h/w issue. more
