Approach on Flights and Trains restarting

Someone forwarded the LocalCircles survey report to me yesterday. It says that airline and railway traffic will drop soon after initial spikes

Question I have for Government officials - why are they starting the airports and trains from and to the high case districts like Mumbai Delhi Chennai. Its a recipe for disaster.

Why cant Delhi railway stations and airport terminals be kept shut?? more

Looking to the trends of Maharashtra and Delhi, there are no singns of becoming the virus under control in these areas in the near future to make them fit (as per your presumption) for resuming the train and air services. The nation has already been deprived of the benefits of the prolonged lock down intended for by forcing the migrated labourers to go back to their respective states by the state governments of their places of work. The nasty politics played in this regard by these governments even during a crucial time when the nation was engaged in its full strength to keep the virus at bay of our people is not unknown to us. The harm has already been done by doing so and the disease started taking different areas under its grip. The areas which were kept beyond reach of the virus till now started reporting of infected patients once the labourers reached their homes and the intended goals of those whose first priority is politics were achieved. The government has already played its roles with responsibility to keep us safe so far and it is now our responsibilities to keep ourselves safe as also to behave as responsible citizens to ensure the nation's safety. The government has other responsibilities as well, which are equally important and any more negligence thereof would be disastrous for us and the nation. For that purpose it would not be a wise decision to keep these two important centres of the country beyond reach of the remaining part of the country. more
I also wonder why this foolhardy decision by the govt? more
The question posted by young Harsimran is a valid one. But then there are other "economical/financial" aspects of situations that also need attention.. Permanent Lockdown cannot ever be a solution. Guru Nanak says: "grahasthi ban ke bhi spiritual raho".. Do we need another guideline, folks? more
Good Suggestion, there is need for developing alternative platform for Airlines & Train inplace of DELHI, Mumbai , Chennai, Ahemedabad & Indore e.g Delhi be replaced by Greater Noida(U.P.) etc or special routes be planned for reaching Air Ports & Railway Stations from Near by District without a break in the Delhi, Mumbai, Ahemedabad, Indore , Chennai cities. more
Though the question is genuine, in these areas also there are very few are affected by the virus and rest of them are doing well. (you can see the cases in Mumbai and compare it with its population). Among these there may be thousands of people who belongs to other areas or those whose relatives are in other places and they need these persons presence very much. To facilitate such people, the government is running trains etc., Before boarding they have to undergo thermal screening etc., and have to be present in the stations at least one hour before. (It means even if one consumed some tablets like paracetamol its effects will not be there after one hour). And even in trains there will be a doctor exclusively for these kind of things. And after arrival, there again they have to undergo some tests. If they found to have fever etc, symptoms, they are sent to isolation etc., more
