AQI deteriorating still burning Ravan today?
The AQI is deteriorating each day and some seniors and young ones are already having difficulty. Still many colonies and societies in Delhi and NCR plan to burn Ravan today. Isn’t this like someone with stage 4 mouth cancer still eating 6 pack gutka?

Correct Rahul. Than the flow of air is the main problem. In Delhi, building bylaws are not followed at all. MCD deparment officials & political leaders has made a nexus & are fully corrupt. Where 3 floors were passed, they taking bribe allowed 4-6 floors resulting in buildings getting higher taller than the trees, thus stopping the free flow of air. As a result air gets trapped here in Delhi. Govt. is not looking for solution of core problem, keeps eyes closed & took unnecessary steps which are useless & just to fool general public. Just think, why villages has fresh air throughout the year? Because there they have ample open area & buildings have short height as compaed to trees. more

Everything you are using for your living detox environment in someway, please don't use electricity, means of transp transport, the building you are living in, all processed foods, clothes manufactured with chemical process (weaving, spinning, colour dyeing) and all large industrial products. Having a peaceful and clean environmental, make a small hut in remote forest. Everything in this universe has a price and you are not alone have right over everything. more

Is AQI deteriorated only after Ravana burning? If yes, your question is correct but is not then why to blame effigy burning. I have a question, if anybody competent can answer:- If smoke from farm fires of Punjab & Haryana area which are not less than 400km far from Delhi reaches Delhi & leads a mojor role in Delhi's AQI deterioration, why can'r Delhi's smoke (from all sources) moves further to other places resulting in cleaner & breathable atmosphere? more

The dense winter air traps all sorts of pollutants in it. Delhi is landlocked city and the air doesn't have anywhere to go specially in winter because of dense winter air more
