It seems from your description that it is a manufacturing defect and if so, you can go to the consumer court more
Filters are not covered under the warranty as they are consumable items. Depending on the quality of the input water being used the life of the filter is approx from 6 months to 1 year. You should have got the filters replaced. Did you get the filters replaced? If yes what is the problem you are facing now? more
IF YOUR PURCHASE DOCUMENTS ARE IN ORDER AND YOU ARE PREPARED FOR LONG FIGHT,GO TO CONSUMER COURT AND FIGHT TILL YOUR ISSUE IS RESOLVED.IF NOT THEN STAY AWAY FROM E COMMERCE. more
AQUAGUARD and Most of RO manufacturing Cos in India are Openly fooling Buyers of 'RO' units buy using Gullible 'Actors' and profiteering by cheating RO buyers by locally assembled RO with substandard with product. Most of the internal Filters are of dubious Quality and Buyer has No Way to know Whether recycled fiters or locally Non BIS products aresold under name of such Branded Cos. These Branded Cos take full advantage of Lax Monitoring by 'BIS' and Govt Consumers redressal Deptt. Thus Indian Consumers are being Openly Looted first by Govt PHED Deptt for supplying Unfiltered and non chlorinated Water to Public and secondly above Deptt not ensuring Govt Rules are enforced on all 'RO' manufacturing Cos?? Any Solution if these Govt's Controlling Deptt do their job properly. Otherwise Indian Public shall be fooled and openly Cheated by Pvt Cos. more
