ARE JUDGES ABOVE LAW & INCORRUPTIBLE?

I was shocked to go through an article in TOI (27th April- Delhi Ed.) where a person who vented his anger on judicial delay in a court was sentenced to undergo mental therapy by an angry Judge and he was forcibly taken by the police and admitted in IBHAS - where Doctors in collusion with police kept him confined for 20 days. The victim was a 71 year old man appearing in a Motor Accident case which had dragged on for years resulting in his venting his frustration. The TOI story does not name the Magistrate who passed such a gory order. Why not name and shame such judicial officials? Are they above law and reproach. This is exactly the sycophancy of Judicial Collegium or whatever that when it comes to whims and fancies of a Judge who acts like a dictator, can he not be taken to task? But No...even to arrest or proceed against a Magistrate or a Judge the process is lengthy and people would lose hope and these high handed Judges and Magistrate continue to work and draw pay putting common men at peril through their erroneous and false judgement. Perhaps that is why the statue of lady with blindfold in Courts that you cannot expect fair judgement as judges have their eyes covered. And to add to this the HC two judge bench pass a judgement asking the Delhi Government to give 2 Lakh compensation to the victim for the illegal confinement. Why shouldn't the Magistrate be penalized if the payment needs to be given for a faulty judgement? Has Delhi Government taken the responsibility of Judiciary which has often time put them in the dock? more

A LAW SHOULD BE enacted that speedy justice should be given and if a senior citizen dies without justice being delivered or suffers mental torture during the course of a case then the judge should be taken to task for not delivering justice and dismissing frivolous cases more

Comment of Sri S.Suryanarayana and Reply of Sri SK Virmani are absolut. I had been repeatedly citing that since 90s Politicians are backed by Businessmen who had been enjoying multiple income even interacting with FDI etc. Their Hunger in EDUCATIONAL and Health fields is not only against constitutional mandates but also anti National and anti Social too. This nexus between Politicians and Businessmen,Traders,Agencies diluted and even sidetracked Policing and Law and Justice too. These kind of acts are indeed betrayal and to be eradicated through Constitutional Reforms in all Fields . more
Even if there is a need to amend the constitutional provisions, it need to be taken up. When a doctor cannot be allowed to practice privately, why the MPs or the Ministers are allowed to practice in courts or work for profit in their business units, Would these people not to make abuse of their power into such business ventures. more
Governments have no ethics. One minister runs numerous educational institutions all over country including in his state. His daughter marries son of another minister who is in charge of Education portfolio. No ethics. The Chief Minister talks of Ethics by PM etc. It may also happened in some cases. When they are voted out of power, They diverse. Great business. more
This is how unethical practices going on in the country and there is no accountabilities of the officials as all wrong doings are paid by tax payers. तभी तो ऐसे अधिकारियों का नज़रिया होता है कि गलत काम करो पकडे गए तो अपने बाप का क्या जाता है। more
