ARE POLITICIANS MOST VALUABLE PEOPLE IN INDIA?

It is surprising that leaders of political parties are looked upon as demi Gods by the followers and the media. This is inspite of the fact that most of the politicians today are not of intellectual class or even honest people. Most of them have little achievements to claim.

Unfortunately, these are the people deciding the destiny of India.

There are thousands of intellectuals , genuine philosophers, scientists, educationists and others in India who are commanded by these politicians.

Looking at the type of politicians in India today, one gets an impression that we are paying too big a price for democratic system that we follow.

Should we blame the democratic system or think that people get the type of government that they deserve.

certain modifications in the electoral system is the need of the hour so that the people are able to select capable persons to rule. Also it seems to be necessary that the politicians need to undergo a comprehensive training programme before they qualify for the job. more
Politicians are to be eliminated. They are the people who are incapable of making any laws. they are parasites living on society. All the powers should be stripped off. more
This is why, Governance in the Country shall be only by Government Secretariats under Constitutional Mandates while the Political Ministries only help the Legislatures in concluding any Business that needs Resolutions and Amendments , collect informations from Governors, President's Secretariats .
This will eradicate the political selfish preferences on the Rule and day to day Governance and Administration . more
This is a fundamental doubt that is plaguing the Indian democracy .No doubt we have evolved and Progressed in to a democracy but microscopically analysis shows that we have majority non derserving ,insincere ,selfish , part educated ,majority non educated leaders ruling our destinies. Reforms are needed, vote bank compulsions must go .A need for intellectual think tanks in all parties to guide, enunciate good moral principle coupled with progressive ,multi cultural multi religious non aligned principles . Very aggressive politics by minorities is not needed if you provide a healthy equitable distribution for the able educated citizens of all communities. One nation one law one direction with patriotic values is the need of the hour. Thanks Mr Venkatraman for broaching a very delicate point which many may not like . more
You are absolutely right Venkataraman Sir more
"Unfortunately, these are the people deciding the destiny of India." became correct since S.C. did not take interest on the Constitutional mandates and derivations confined in our Constituent Assembly on such most important Issues. S.C. simply declared in AIR 1983 SC 624 that S.C. is Responsible to Constitutional Provisions. S.C. could not help Indian Citizen at all or help prompt implementation of the most important Constitutional welfare and economic Provisions of Citizen including the very Education and Employment as well as Justified enforcement of Reservations. Political Rule in India did never care the prompt and perfect enforcement of Constitutional provisions referred above and , even care the S.C. directions too. THIS IS WHY, THE CJI in early 2018, commented the same resultant to the Political practice of allowing Convicted Personalities lead the Political parties, appoint a proxy as even a CM to Rule the State ; while many Fiscal Offenders and Financial Criminals allowed to continue their Rule beyond even a decade . THIS IS WHY, NDA LEAD GOVERNMENT PREFERRING VARIOUS REFORMS IN MANY GOVERNING AND MANAGING SECTORS . more
