Are senior officials of Modi Govt again chilling
This week i visited Delhi and met with several officials of the Central Government for work as well as personal associations.
It seems many of them have again gone into the chill out mode. Urgency missing again. Same thing happened from June 2015-Apr 2016 till some whip was cracked and some people removed.
Again, it seems the bureaucracy has gone in similar mode. They dont respond to phone calls, dont give time easily but when you are able to get through, they are actually not that busy, having a good time. Some refer to election. Some say - why work so much. Mediocrity setting in again. Very very concerning and I hope the PM takes note of it and takes some action and injects some energy. more

Some officials wants to show their influence with less work turnover. When their aim is not fulfilled, they preferred chilling. more

If u have the same bureaucracy, the same officials, they cannot change. They may appear to do more work as long the whip is used. Very soon they get used to the whip, u need a bigger whip to keep them moving, but again they get used to the bigger whip. We need policy changes, strong leadership to motivate these people to work more. Maybe inject a few smart digital people in between, remove some old weed, and monitor the work, use more security cameras to monitor more
