ARE WE IMMUNE TO CORRUPTION IN DAY TO DAY BUSINESS
It is a open secret that:
Officers of Central excise/ State excise & prohibition department are taking monthly fixed sums as bribes for collusion with Industry.
Most of the Sales tax officials will take bribes on any work with them which the Industry has to contact them in person or on the occasion of personal visit to Industry on audit/ inspection.
Service tax and Income tax Officials will take bribes for any favours the Industry solicits.
Police, Revenue and other Government departments who has public contact take advantage of their Powers for corruption
The point of corruption is
1. Any personal contact with the department
2. Use of discretionary powers by the department
3. Misuse of power on small and petty businesses
4. Exploitation of citizens ignorance of their rights and privileges
5. Encasement of greed in Society
6. As an outgrowth of Financial Terrorism more

It is a common knowledge that Noida Development Authority is a quagmire of corruption from top to bottom. Gardenia Shelters Pvt Ltd, Sector-61, Noida has sold for a high premium FIRE PASSAGE for parking of vehicles. Despite several complaints to the CEO, Noida Development Authority, Gautam Budh Nagar District Senior Superintendent of Police and District Fire Officer no action has been taken. While Supertech, Amarpali Builders have been imposed heavy penalty for giving possession of flats without clearance from the Noida Development Authority, for obvious reasons, Gardenia Shelters Pvt given possession in June, 2012 when Noida Development Authority has given clearance certificate on 12th September, 2012. It is anybody's guess as to how much slush money might have changed hands. more

Government should made a survey with the Trade and Industries about the corruption they are facing with each department wise without naming the officials, the facts will be known. Instead of talking only on bringing the block money, the Government should take multi-pronged approach to take up all known avenues of corruption which every citizen and Businessmen and Industry knows. Let it starts from Top i.e. from Politicians and Beaurocrats. more

The problem of corruption is enormous. it is like a virus in a computer. Every day a new virus is detected. But for computers new antiviruses are regularly made therefore the problem of vruses are in control. Here we are only talking of the virus called coruption. but we are not discussing of making antivirus for this corruption. I feel that instead of talking generally on this issue, we should speak specifically on corruption. For eg. we should discuss corruption department wise. There should be an option in this circle to discuss corruption on specific government department. Then people can give their experience of corruption in these departments. Then based on these inputs, case wise remedial measures can be found and implemented in the concerned department. Thank you more
