Asked for Replacemet but No proper Response.

My mobile LG V40 ThinQ comes under the category of Premium model. On march 22 i found that i had a problem in my vibrator.
Hence i reported that problem through the service centre. They found the same problem and confirmed it. Service centre said it can be serviceable. But as a consumer, 50000 worth product how could it can be a defective within 20 days from purchased date. Hence i asked for replacement. But they didnt responded properly and convincing to make service. But i am not ready to make it service. Because once it was serviced, i knew how it will work after. My concern is how could a defective can be accepted within 20 days. There is no proper response from the customer support sids also. Hence requesting to make a proper intiative to give a right solution.
Really disappointing from LG. more

Did you read the warranty card for replacement/repair options before buying the phone? If the terms of "no replacement" is clearly stated, and still you purchased, you cannot blame the manufacturer now. We seem to take no responsibility for our actions. If we benefit, we gloat as if it is our success. When things go wrong, we blame every else. Time to take ownership for the outcomes of our actions or inaction. more  
DEAR SRINIVASAMOORTHY,you need not to be disappointed,youn had paid for a product..it must work as promised.Please call the NATIONAL HELP LINE FOR THE CONSUMERS @ 1600 11 4000and get guided.Meanwhile ,lodge a GD with the LOCAL POLICE STATION with all docs.(COPIES) .We have to teach this LG that we are united and you can not get away cheating us.You also should write to the leading News papers about these crooks,like L G.with regards.BN DAS more  
Dear Sir , PL answer this .In scooter or car suppose break or remote door not closing or some other defect will you ask replacement without giving an opportunity to the OEM to get it attended . Judge yourself more  
It is not the car or scooter. In this particular case it is a mobile unit. It should be replaced under warranty conditions. Please go through warranty conditions that is coming with the unit and ask for replacement more  
I Disagree with the comparison, and I would like to put your example in a better way U buy a new Car and you drive it for 10 days and find that the amount of Fuel its consuming is way more than it should What Would you Do , Obviosly You will take it to authorised service centre , Upon examining the vehicle its found that the problem is with the Fuel pipe Will you ask for replacement or the the service guy to repair the pipe and refit it. Now as the components of a vehicle is not so complex compared to mobile A consumer is left with No choice but to ask for replacement of the defective piece more  
It is a trend in all manufacturers of electronic manufacturers. The moment it is sold it falls into a category of sold forever and any amount of your persuasion is not answered properly. They know and do it for products which they may even discontinue. You may be goaded to buy a product from a salesman but actually it would have been discontinued from product line. When there is a warranty problem they may say bluntly not serviceable by our service centers and you may approach other service centers. It is a pity that customers suffer for no fault of theirs. more  
Some of the following points are to be kept in mind : 1. Was the mobile phone purchased from online services or from a reputed shop or an authorised dealer? 2. Date of Purchase of the Mobile Phone. 3. Invoice/Bill for the product purchased along with the guarantee/warranty card provided with the mobile phone. 5. If the product was purchased from a reputed shop or an authorized dealer, then the address, locality and area of the shop and the terms under which they are selling the product. If purchased online, then it becomes very difficult for replacement because of the stipulated time during which the product can be asked for replacement or for refund of the amount of purchases by returning back the product. 6. If the product got defective within 20 days of the purchase and the product was purchased online, then it becomes very difficult for replacement. There is no such stringent law in our country that protects the buyer from online purchases after the stipulated period of replacement. 7. If the product was purchased from a reputed shop or an authoriized dealer, then the chances of getting the replacement is less but the chances of getting the mobile serviced free of charge is high. So in this case you can contact the local shop or the authorized dealer from where the purchase was made for doing the needful. 8. Telephone contacts with the service people is disgusting in our country. Never trust any phone calls for getting response by contacting these people. The general trend for after sales service in our country does not exist effectively. Telephone calls are just put on hold until the caller gets disgusted with the response and cuts off the call. 9. Final piece of advice - Costly phones should always be purchased from authorised dealers of the phone and not from any random showrooms selling mobile phones. more
