ATM recalibration for 100 rupee notes
Is going to cost govt 1 billion rupees, take 1 year and 240000 atms will have to be recalibrated. People will be inconvenienced.
Is this being done for benefit of select companies or is it something that is poorly thought by RBI?

Primary step for any new project (i.e. change) is 'COST-BENEFIT ANALYSIS'. Was it carried out? Let the RBI educate all of us. more

Then what should the RBI/Government do? The alternative may be to ask the banks to stop loading 100 rupee notes in the ATMs, as printing of the notes in present size, which are much bigger than the new 500 rupee notes, can't be continued. We have developed a tendency to criticise every steps of a government not of our choice. more

Very poor idea to implement new 100 new Notes ,I am not against the change, but these should be of the same size, then cost ,factor, other problems might not occurred more

This note is made/Make in india. Paper and ink normally imported. As per report recent one is used the product from India only. more

After sufficient notes are printed in new format, old notes will be slowly withdrawn from circulation and phased out. more
