Audit of all society buildings
It would indeed be a great idea if the DM and Noida Authority can follow BIS standards for buildings in Noida. A once in 4 years audit could be done to evaluate
current strength of the building columns, beams, pillars, iron bars and plaster, sewage discharge systems, water pipeline system, electrical cabin and wiring system, lifts and podiums.
Also any unauthorised construction activity/encroachment issues could be addressed (this is currently done by rwa and poorly enforced) If a process is set all such illegal activities will stop thereby ensuring building safety.
This is also of highest importance in Noida because we are very prone to earthquakes. more

Auditing of the society buildings should be done soon after completion/use and there after every 3-4 years. The audit party should have Govt. representative and societies representatives having their residence in any of the society being auditted. more

I am in favour of Ms Radha's comment. I am not sure but review of building by GNIDA or noida authority may not be worthful. Because any builder may have good contact with reviewer team or reviewer team may get biased. Hence the involvemnet of DM in review process could make the process transparent. more

Completely agree with her. The audit should concurrently be done for GNIDA areas as well and the audit panel should be broad based to reduce possible interference from vested quarters.. more

First all illegal constructions / encroachments should be removed. Not a single building should be allowed to be sold / occupied. Sealing of these building is no solution, as after some time, this will again be opened and used. Second step should be to get all the buildings audited by a statutory body, and that body should be made responsible, if any defect is noticed thereafter or any happening like shahberi takes place. more

Yes, I think should be initiated by the society on an annual basis and after every building should be covered by Govt. once in a three years' period more
