Authorized person for office mob sim connection
Dear friends,
I have a question to be clarified regarding mobile sim connections taken for my previous office for work related task.
While I was working in a non-profit organisation, I have sourced 6 Idea cell phone sims for office work through a Idea dealer. I left the organisation during the last week of April 2017, and sent a mail to the dealer as well as Idea customer service mail id regarding my resignation and the contact details of the person to be contacted for future requirements.
Now, due to non-payment of the sim charges, Idea representatives are contacting me and threatening me through their lawyer for payments and other details.
Could someone advise me what I should do with the given situation?

If the Sims were allotted in the personal name of Ms Anuradha, who will be held responsible for payment of the dues their against? Did she mention in the applications that the sims will be used for official purposes of her company? If not, in my opinion, Ms Anuradha is legally liable to pay the dues to the service provider(s). more

Idea is a good for nothing service provider. In future please don't take service from them. I had terminated a sim that I had. more

I agree with Mr Kurnool Secondly as per Court's order NO COLLECTIONis supposed to make phone call at residence Email should be sent to Idea also .Police have taken cognizance of such=threatening calls Recording be ideal more

Depends entirely on who the SIM has been issued to - if to You on your KYC (your PAN / ID / Address Proof) , the responsibility is yours personally. If issued to the NGO on its KYC (Trust Deed / Partnership Deed / NGO's PAN Card etc.) then its the NGO's responsibility and you're NOT responsible post resignation. more
