1. Many service providers offer a one-month free service and thereafter start billing you without asking
2. Credit cards are auto renewed every year and the renewal charges are charged to the card itself
3. Debit card charges are auto debited every year from the users account by some banks
4. Some app stores are a big culprit. The continue to charge subscription charges on the credit card even after user has deleted the app
5. Foreign companies are charging credit and debit cards issued in India without an OTP-SMS approval
6. Some software companies are renewing annual subscriptions without permissions and posting a charge on credit/debit cards
7. Some cases of auto-debit of policy renewals without explicit permission have also been reported
8. Many value added services are renewed by telecom operators every month without the user’s consent
9. Many websites usually do not give an option to stop auto-renewal. more

The bad attitude of some misdirected merchants have forced me to stop payment for any services with my credit or debit card. Initially they will assure you that you will be notified before billing, but they rarely get back to you and even if you complain, they wont pay back what they have collected. MSEB in Maharashtra charges extra if bills are paid by debit or credit card. When government is encouraging digital payment, why this government organisation has put this condition. IRCTC, once money is put into IRCTC wallet, the money cannot be transferred back to our account, why this restriction. Due to this an amount of Rs.5000 is stuck in IRCTC wallet. more

When the receiver organisation uses PayTM / other wallet, the consumer loses the right to 'dispute'. This must be curbed, enabling consumer to 'dispute' a transaction - as i may chose to pay using my credit card. more
