Autorikshaws with meters in Gurgaon
The Autorikshaws in Gurgaon are one of the most disorganized lot. There are no meters in any of the autos and they charge fare as they please.
I just can believe that in a 'Millennium City', we do not have a basic necessity of a regulated public transport. Autos are there but these are without meters, just can't understand how can the transport department allow this at all?
There aren't enough buses to cater to the needs of the common folk here and we have to rely on autorikshaws to commute daily to and from work, these guys just open their mouth when we ask the fare, and often take advantage of situations like late nights, rain etc. This should stop and transport department should wake up.

As is the case with everything else in our country, policies & rules & regulations are in place for every conceivable need & situation. The problem is with the implementation. Its the Indian "chalta hai" attitude at every step that is the bane of our society ! more

for the benefit of all, the policy is already in place. police commissioner of gurgaon has accepted this on many forums including radio channels. you all are aware of the reasons for not implementing the same. more

Fully agree with Mr Rajeev Arora's & Mr Bawa Grover's views . This circle or the discussions will not serve any purpose unless someone from the right govt. deptt's gets all the comments and he should them come up with replies for why things are what they are today and what needs to be done to make amendments and if they expects any help /volunteers to do something to assist them in taking action. more

Endorse Rajeev Arora's point. Dear - Administrator of this circle - request your help for arranging this please. This cannot be only a Citizens only circle. The Government has to be an integral part of this circle to collaborate with us so together we can make some rapid progress on the ground . Thanks more
