Awareness about FSSAI

I suggest people in India are not much aware of FSSAI and it's advantages. Though FSSAI is doing a great work by putting Labels on different brands but it's more important to make people aware of this so that while buying products from different sources they should see the FSSAI labels on brands they buy. I have also noticed few fast food shops in malls not having or displaying FSSAI Licences. It should be made mandatory. I suggest Govt. should also take steps to make people more vigilant. more

The food Safety officers, spanned all over the Country, should have a dedicated aproach in detecting MISTAKES more
Many unscrupulous businessmen print the fassai regn. number but no body knows whether it is genuine or fake. Who tests the quality of product at retail end. Notorious people find loopholes in the system and exploit the same to their financial gains at the cost of consumers. There is need to resurrect the Food/Health/Weights & Measure Deptt. and make them accountable to the public. People in general do not know about the duty of these departments towards public and such their contact addresses should be displayed at all important places in every city/town. more
Absolutely. The way Polio vaccination, Malaria, Dengue, Diabetes, dysentery, diarrhea etc some of which may be the result of various factors including adulterated food, is taken seriously and campaigned thru electronic and non-electronic media door to door basis , I suggest Govt & fssai must campaign regularly to make people aware of fssai and its activities to reduce health hazards. Jai Hind! Jai Bharat! more
Agree, But people also should not buy the food which is not approved by FSSAI.However, on the contrary here people buy the food based on the pricing, not by the quality standards followed while making. Hence, in Chennai specially, no one checks for the FSSAI approved eatables. Awareness need to be brought and its the high time. more
