What you have said is 200% correct. But the issue is that it cannot be wiped out till there is lack of Education in real terms and there is corruption in the country. These Babas have tow pronged strategy. On the one hand they exploit the sentiments of uneducated people by promising them 'Maukshaa' (salvation) and similar other things. Secondly they help those who are needy with money. For example they fund treatments of followers, they provide monetary help for marriage of girls, they provide money for education etc. As a result poor people start considering them above humans. Consequently if they do something wrong that is not considered important.
If the Govt. System provides necessary facilities to all such needy, such situations may not arise. But the prevalent Political System and associated Corruption do not allow that. more

I personally feel, the stressful life leads people to these places, where they expect some relaxation. Some of these things might be really destressing like vipasana etc. But most are just making money. more

Ram Rahim is not at all connected with Hindu religion. He has followers from all communities and all religions, yes majority may be Hindus since India is largely a Hindu country.
