Back Pain and Reflexology

How to get rid of back pain?

Use your thumb to put pressure on the areas below your little fingers. This would relieve the pain in your shoulders. One thing that you have to keep in mind is that you have to work on both the hands, even if you have pain in one shoulder.

You have to use your thumb to put pressure on the outer edge of your palm. This would relieve the pain in your spine.

Also, it would be good if you do your right hand first and then the left one. more

I wish to add here that those interested in this treatment (Accupressure) may kindly read the book "HEALTH IN YOUR HANDS" by DEVENDRA VORA, published by Navneet Publications (India) Limited. email : navneet I @vsnl.com I have a copy of their seventh edition (1999). Mr. Vora has treated the subject in very lucid and easily understandable language and has also supported his subject with some case studies. He has also given some details about physiology/anatomy and some natural methods to treat common ailments. A book worth reading and practicing, especially by the aged. The publisher has not given any addresses of their depots in Delhi. more
Hi Anamika. Great piece of advice. Is there any particular point to press for pain in lower back between L4-L5 ? Shall appreciate if you could reply. Keep the good work going.................... more
Thank you, Anamika ji, but it will be very good of you if you also explained the science or logic behind your suggested treatment, especially for the spine; in any treatment mental satisfaction is no less important than physical alone and has a compounding effect. Or else one can follow whatever just as a superstition. more
