Bad intentions
It is amusing that this comes from the Finance Minister!! They all sail in the same boat!! They have to please the opposition parties otherwise the parliament will be disturbed. This shows that the corruption starts from the top. There is no hope for india to become a non-corrupt nation. Basically Indian's mind is corrupt and how can the PM and its govt change? This is really a shame. All rules are for the masses, when it comes to the masters they live in a different world. When a common man defaults in tax payment there are punishments, but for the parties, who are supposed to be guides, it is a different story. Save Bharat!!! more

There has to be stringent punishments for politicians violating rules as they should be the trend setters by personal example as leaders and not corrupt. more

All of a sudden miracle will not happen. It has taken time to make a person corrupt. Same way it will take time to change. more

It is true that corruption starts from top that too by compromising with the demands of opposition for the sake of running the parliament. This problem can be solved up to some extent by amending the constitution and making it similar to Democracy in USA where elected members are only up to Parliament and not becoming Minister where most of them have no knowledge or expertise. more

The govt has given some corrections, not much to benefit of the parties. But sops are being traded by the ruling party with the opposition parties now and then. Once we vote there is no contract between the voter and elected. Do we have any platform to express our resentment over the Lokjam, people are taken for granted, it is always they know better than us. more
