Banning of films from Pak
The GOI never took the stand ,but some organisations under the threat of local political parties announced the temporary suspension of screening Pak films and films with Pak actors.
No visas were revoked .
Suddenly a few film personalities are raising unwanted questions and making irreverent comments on PM.
This is uncalled for ,as the administration has a lot decisions regarding foreign policies and defence preparedness.They have no right to question the GOI and its policies and especially seeking appologies fromPM for his vist to Pakistan PM.
Banning films is voluntary by some elements in film fraternity and commercial loss has to be born by these actions.
But it has nothing to do with PMs Foreign policy decisions and actions.
The socalled intellectuals are citizens first and they must know the law and should not make noises in the name of democracy more

Now that Pak has shown the real face by banning Indian content in Tv and films ,the Indian film fraternity must face and keep mum and not issue statements any more. Screen if you have decided but face the response .How many right minded people will see it? more

Why so much discussion when it comes to a subject like patriotism.Not only opposition but every other person who need publicity give statements to press .There is just nothing only one thing we follow our national interests. more
