Basic health care system
This is the photograph of my village NRHM center. It is in this condition for last 15 years. The condition of building can be seen in the photo. Even a single staff of NRHM has visited that center in last 15 years. But it is running in paper. Staffs are gettong salary I came to know recently. No govt bother about this. Is this our basic health care system? What a joke govt is playing with their own people? This is really a shame for us. It is both state and central govt equally responsible. Please let me know whom should I send this photo for an effective action. more

Writing to public men is like writing on water. Pl write letter preferably a registered letter or better still a speed post with POD (proof of delivery) cared affixed to the director of health services. After 15 days send an RTI application as follows,- To State Public information officer Dept [ ] [Address with pin code] Sub: Seeking information under RTI on the letter dated…[date of your application] Sir, kindly refer to a an application submitted by me on the repair, restoration and re-equipping of NHRM centre [place/ village] Please provide certified copies of the following 1. Daily progress made on my application [copy enclosed] 2. The name and designation of the officials dealing with/ taking action on my application 3. Copies of my application and the office notes in which each of the aforementioned (at 2) have recorded their remarks/ proposal till this date of RTI application. Name…. signature Address Affix a Rs 10 court fee stamp Within 30 days of the application if reply is not received or not received as requested send another letter to the appellate authority enclosing copies of all the correspondence This again has to be a speed post letter with POD card attached. more

Mr.Paikaray-Appreciate your perseverance. Suggest also try calling your MP/MLA. A few more avenues you can explore are: a) File an RTI query with Health Ministry of your state. b) Please visit National Health Mission website, they too have a vigilance set up state wise. Please don't get disheartened if it takes a lot of effort to tackle this case. more

Mr. Palkaray kindly try TV channels like Zee News. They may take note of the problem and telecast in their prime time 9pm-10pm. more

Tayal Sir. Thanks for following this issue. I wrote a mail to our MP and sent message to our MLA in his facebook id. But didn't get any response from both of the leaders. I don't know effectiveness of this post. Looking for an effective channel for this problem. I think it is bit too much a NRHM center abandoned for nearly fifteen years. more
