Be aware before buying any DELL Products

I have purchased a DELL PC before 18 months for INR 53,000.
From the very first day the PC starts behaving strangely. I complaint regarding this to the Dell. They changed the Hard Disk, but still no progress. Then they changed the Motherboard ( it was a REFURBISHED MOTHER BOARD ) and provide me a product key. The Product Key they provided me does not have any OEM written on it. When I checked with the Microsoft I came to know that the key provided to me is not compatible with my Windows version. Recently I am getting black screen while working on the PC. It automatically comes in between and then disappear and the screen become normal. I registered a complaint with Dell for this problem and I was shocked to hear their excuse. They told me that this happens because of the interference from mobile phones signals. The also suggest me to keep the mobile phone away from the computer while its in use. I implemented this suggestion also, but the result is nil. I have never seen such a rude and irresponsible services from any Company.
I am planning to take this issue to Consumer Forum.
But friends, please never ever try to purchase any product from Dell. more

The reply by DELL is very much IMPERTINENT. They must be booked under CP ACT more  
Please issue an ultimatum giving 15 days time, mentioning all your grievances. After than period, if you are not satisfied, you can file a case in the District Consumer Court. more  
I don't think that Local Circles can assist to resolve the consumer problems. To me, it is platform to share experience and help each other, if possible. For complaints, if complain is not resolved by company customer care, then approach the Consumer Court..... more  
This is a serious issue and there is no control on it. I request my friends better to Purchase such Items from Companies Authorised Dealer only. more  
I wish , you posted the mail a few weeks back. I have just bought a PC Model DELL Vostro 3478 (8th Gen i5) and is facing similar problems. The screen is highly unstable and keeps blinking off and on. This is supposed to be a high end model in that range. I too get an impression that the device is a refurbished junk although I paid the full price. The suggestion that this can happen due to interference from nearby mobile sets is a ridiculous one. I have been working on a Acer PC for 12 years , a Toshiba PC for 8 years , a I Pad for six years and using mobile phones all the way. Nothing like this has ever happened. I am initiating a conversation with the supplier. Go ahead with the consumer court route. I may soon join you later. Please state very clearly in your complaint that the manufacturer has nowhere informed that the PC is not usable in locations near a mobile phone or any other such device more
