BE FOREWARNED ABOUT STEALTHY & DANGEROUS IMPORTS

AS WELL AS SMUGGLING OF CRACKERS FROM CHINA :
The attached is a news item that appeared after authorities have encountered with Chinese Crackers ,

* coming in the guise of Children’s toys.
* with fake “ MADE IN INDIA“ labels.
* Chinese crackers are illegal and not permitted in the explosive rules.2008 ; they contain certain chemicals banned by Ondia like , chlorate , red lead, copper oxide, and lithium.

So the chief controller of explosives , Sivakasi [the cracker manufacturing hub of Tamilnadu ] has advised the Cracker buyers ,

# Indians avoid crackers with labels with pictures of Chinese people and script.

# Avoid crackers without labels of the name of the company , licence number and location.

# Be warned about a duplicate Indian Label claiming made in India.

LOOK AT OUR NEIGHBOUR HOW SMART THEY ARE. EVEN AS WE HAVE BEEN DISCUSSING ABOUT BOYCOTTING THE CHINESE PRODUCTS IN THE CIRCLES , THEY TAKE THE CUE AND COME OUT WITH FAKE “ MADE INDIA LABELS “ -------- Jai Hind more

So long we just want to exploit the situation under every situation we can try but God help us. We spike even spurious drinks with methyl alcohol at a serious risk to consumers. Drugs are packed with just salt or vitamin C. As the joke goes in India one cannot be sure to die by taking poison as the poison will be bogus. Similarly crackers will even be repackaged. We can import with blank packaging and put Indian labels. more
We should stop importing such frivolous items like this..as the Chinese are talking advantage of our loose systems.. more
China is not importing such items in India, but Indians are importing such items. Thus, let us not blame China, but identify those Indians who are importing it. What prevents us to label such Indians as anti-nationals? more
The matter should be publicised all over the country through national as well as local news papers in regional languages advising the citizens not to purchase China made crackers. This should be done immediately as the Diwali festival is on the door steps. more
How about manufacturing quality crackers/ Fireworks locally and be sold at competitive prices and not printing inflated MRP on locally made crackers/ Fireworks. more
It is always welcome to differ with others views on any issue and to suggest alternative solutions with reasons to enable to derive the best one considered most suitable for the nation and its people as a whole. But in the instant case, the post mainly points out towards the Chinese crackers containing chemicals harmful to humane health and banned in India, which is a serious matter and might have escaped attention while countered my comments. Our people in general are ignorant about their health and are tend to prefer the cheaper products being unaware of the aftermath. Under such circumstances, it is the duty of the government to make people aware of the facts urging to refrain from using items grossly injurious to health because of its inability to terminate at its own a business treaty entered into between two nations. more
Sorry. I beg to differ with your opinion. I don't think, this is a real solution. If Chinese crackers are better in quality and cheaper even after paying shipping cost and import duties, how can we stop people from buying those.

Real solution is making quality crackers/ Fireworks locally and be sold at competitive prices and not printing inflated MRP on locally made crackers/ Fireworks. more
There is a special Department of Central to check the imported goods's admissibility of import with reference to life of human, animals, plants, earth etc. They should take action in such matter without waiting for complaint from public.Whether corruption is the cause for not taking action? more
