Be true to the Republic this Day!
For the millions of we Indians,Republic Day is just another day..full of joy de vivre..of happiness..of celebration of democracy and a day of true symbolism of national pride and prowess not the least reflected in the grand parade at Rajpath. Actually if we take a closer look,there are thousand things that we could be proud of .. the diverse achievements ,say the Guns,the Tanks,the missiles the parade columns of jawaans and the children..it fills our hearts with pride..but somewhere it also raises a serious question that begs an honest reflection and an answer: What has been my true and actual contribution in making India proud? Haven't we been in all probability just bystanders when "Kaarvaan guzar gaya..gubaar dekhte rahe?" Exceptions to this would please excuse ..never mind..let this Republic Day be a solemn reminder of not just our Rights but our duty as well..our duty to family, to neighbors, society and to the nation..Lets together Build India. Happy Republic Day. Well said, Sanjeev ji. Igniting the hopes of aam aadmi must be tempered with self-regulations of affluent class to care and share the wealth, skills and knowledge to the nation.
