Beating Mayawati in UP has to be the real challenge for BJP, not defeating INCongress and SP only. Rather than considering the dalits as votebanks only will bring misfortune for BJP, INCongress may get some votes of dalits because of reservation, but BJP is a pariah to dalits and because of upper caste overindulgence in BJP, the dalits feel the party to be of the upper castes. So taking meals with the dalits is like doing a show business, similar to Rahul Gandhi while en-voyage, going to a poor dalit's home and have food with them. The party must beat the habit of show-business and find an equal mix of SC/ST, OBC and Brahmins and Thakur candidates with good track record, education, clarity of thoughts and absolutely clear character. Give them candidature for UP polls. more

Thoughts are very clear and that is what our PM declared on several occasions - sab ka sath sab ka vikas- but still people are not ready to accept his views with a clean heart and that is the problem. more

BJP will do well if they do not rake up issues like Kairana just to give an impression that they are working for Hindus and Akhlesh govt has failed. In fact they should forget about cast totally , do not talk about SPs failures only but talk about what they have done at the center and other BJP ruled states which has benefited all. Let them not depend on SPs failure for their success. They should talk about their own achievements. After all Akhlesh govt has done many good things which people do appreciate and your talking against those will only make your position weak. more

It is because I am not a politician, I believe that BJP must push for help for weaker sections of all religions and casts. All Indians must be treated on par. The current system has failed to remedy excesses of the past and must go. Way forward would be to find a better alternative. BJP, RSS, HIndu Temples and Trusts together can do it. Let us build a gurukul in each village providing free residential education to all with added facilities for weaker sections including dalits, BCs and OBCs. Build them up so that they can face the world with pride and confidence. This will prove our love and care for them and win their hearts over. Likes of Mayawati, Mulayam Singh and Lallu Prasad will become irrelevant. Yes, it will take time but the wait will be worth it. more
