Best mattress for back pain

Which is the best mattress for back pain in India? Suffering from back pain for a week at night. I think my mattress has become de-shaped and soft from the centre. I always like my mattress to be hard.

What is the logic behind the mattress it should be soft or hard?

Advise some good options available. more

For back pain excercises YOGA Mattress should be good enough. If there is problem in lying straight, a normal pillow could be used for a few days. more

I am using a hard mattress manufactured by KURLON Limited, Bangalore since 2015. Myself and my wife are using it and there is no problem. There was 5 years guarantee. more
Most mattresses become soft after a while. The Box spring if you have one gets loose. As suggested out a plank and try. If you want a hard mattress you can have it made at a local shop. I keep a hard pillow made by stuffing ot with enough cotton to make it hard, ( cost about 400) in my sofa or couch when I watch TV and it makes my back firm and straight. I am 81. But do not use it for sleeping as you will get neck pain. I also use a flat pillow for sleeping so that there is no curvature. Hope it helps. more
I am not sure whether what I am saying is correct. But one thing which suggests itself to me is if you prefer a hard mattress, why don't you put a sheet on the floor and try for a few days? If you find it difficult to get up from the floor, I would suggest that you remove your mattress and put a hard board / plywoood on your cot, cover it with a couple of thick sheets abd trt to sleep? If the pain does not go away, do consult your doctor. more
