I think you should really meet a good doctor in your area if the fever is still bothering you. A fever that does not respond to it may be a more serious infection, that needs treatment beyond paracetamol. Frankly, I dont even suggest paracetamol to patients without full examination. I have known patients who developed liver failure on it. But since over the counter drugs are so freely available, one really cant help that Best meet a dr soon Best of Luck Get well soon Dr Mittal @ Dr Mittal's Mediclinic Sector 110, Noida 9873711878 more
both my sugestions on homeopathy and ayurvedic are from a practicing MD in homeopathy and a practicing Director, National Ayurvedic Institute and not from internet. and available in written prescription with me. more
Pls don't try anything at home if fever is not going down, pls consult a doctor immediately more
High Fever not coming down with Crocin and Cold Copresses needs to be investigated immediately in the Hospital. It can be due to some infection. How is condition of the child / Adult? If getting listless should be seen by a Doctor immediately to keep things under control. more
Nidhi.. crocin (paracetomol 500 mg) is a very safe and effective drug to control fever. But if temp remains over 102 deg f then other measures are required in addition to crocin. If fever is not responding I suggest do not become a internet doctor. Please show to a qualified doctor as these medicines do have adverse and side effects. If you need any reference you can call me. more
