BETTER ANTIBODY PRODUCTION WHEN GAP BETWEEN 1st & 2nd DOSES of VACCINE JABS IS INCREASED::
Covishield and Covaxine were released for Vacination with a gap of a few weeks. Bothe the vaccines were advised to be taken in 2 doses at a gap of 4 weeks. Then suddenly the expansion of vaccination of Age groups were announced. Then we witnessed a rush for Vaccine taking, clearly creating a Supply Demand imbalance.
Just then ICMR & Indian Government announced that Covishield needed a gap of 4-6 weeks between the doses for better Antibody production and good effectivity. Susequently it was increasd to 8 and 12 weeks Gaps saying that the trials that are still going on the Volunteers and had shown such facts.
If only this finding appears on headlines it will have a good impact and may ease the Supply Crisis. more

As long there are no side effects after 2nd dose, we may wait patiently and keep going with SOP against Covid. more

Yes Satyapal Ratti Sir, the virologists have said that to develope a Vaccine it takes time as long as 6/7 years. Dedicated Scientists & Virologists from the world including from India have achieved succesfuly to produce this Vaccine in a Record short time of less than a year. And Indian scientists and Manufacturers participating in a well Praisworthy manner. Let us see where do we head from here. more

Yes, we all are in the learning phase. Results/effects of the vaccines are announced as and when they are available, generally through the statements made by renowned medical doctors. Since new knowledge is collected almost every day, old stats lose their credibility. more
