Beware of Snapdeal others on mrp

I have atleast noticed 5-6 times in last 2 months that products are listed abive mrp on snapdeal to show a big discount.

Many people because of the way they shop search by most discounts and fall into the trap.

Even Amazon is doing same but not as much.

Consumer affair dept please look into this. consumers suffer while sellers and snapdeals profit from it. more

I think to quote nay price above the MRP is illegal and the matter should be taken up with the consumeer forum and reported to the Consumer Affairs Ministry. more

Amazon is also fooling the innocent customers in India. I have purchased a Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 exclusively sold by them on 4th September, 2016. The product is not at all good for value for Rs.11999/- and is not working. After a series of correspondences, I got the following final reply from them: - "I'm sorry to hear about the problem you are facing with your Order # 171-9070179-5278719 for the product "Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (Gold, 32GB)". I would like to inform you that all electronic goods purchased on Amazon are covered by the standard manufacturer warranty, unless otherwise stated on the product details page. Checking with your order details, I see that the return window of this product expired on Friday 16 September 2016. In these regards, we cannot assist you with a replacement or refund for the item". more
This is stupid post. These are sellers of the goods and will use any tactics to lure the customers. You cannot order them as how to advertise their products. They indicate for what price item is available. It is up to the customer to check the price in the market and order what they want if they feel price is right. You cannot order them to lower their prices. more
It is a shock to know the fact that these net companies do trap the people quoting above MRP. This news shall be distributed to all public to be more attentive while purchasing goods on line. Now we can suggest government to instruct these companies to keep a box for every product MRP price. more
