I agree that FSSAI should have an online complaint site with facilities to upload photographs of offending foods and support documents like receipts etc. more
So Delhi offices are getting snacks? For free or by payments. more
In India the onus of proving anything falls on the victim while the offender is given full support by the law till the case is proved. This is totally wrong, once the matter is reported to the authorities, it should be the responsibility of the Authorities to do the needful including filing of cases against the Offender. more
Toll free number and email address of authorities where the complaints can be made be must be made compulsory. more
I had written generally for all kinds of complaints. In this case it should be FSSAI. But due to lengthy process, consumer victims get disinterested. I have already suggested following to ease up the process

In all food products carrying the marking of FSSAI should have a mandatory toll-free helpline & a wapp no. printed in bold letters so that it can be reported immediately in the presence of the Shopkeeper from where it has been purchased so that a photo attachment of the shop can be sent.

I have personally found many times that intentionally the process is so designed so that complainants become disinterested. In many cases, I have personally gone to nearest P.S. & filed a complaint but they want to wriggle out of the responsibility. more
But who are these Authorities who are supposed to take action? more
FSSAI should allow online complaints with proof & photographs.....Regards On Sat, 23 Sep 2017 13:43:26 +0530 "Nisha Tiwari" wrote > more
And why should matters go to Court if it can be handled by proper rules more
In India we have forgotten that Justice delayed is Justice denied. When the laws are fool-proof then only offenders will be scared to break the law. So the lawmakers should ensure fool-proofing the laws and augment them from time to time with the best possible way with the latest available technical standards. more
I believe you are an advocate and you must be aware how fast our Consumer Redressal courts delivers results. more
FSSAI can not go on checking all packets. Let the matter brought to their notice for taking action. more
Absolutely right. The batch numbers are meant tp trace the product and hence batch number is must before lodging any complaint. more
