So many people are doing quarantine in their own ways for covid 19.

Government of India, health Ministry has already made Guidelines for self Quarantine, Dos & Donts for COVID-19 recently and published in My.GOV.in site . Please check the link in the same . BIS is under Commerce Ministry and has specific Charter and Task laid out for product standardization and Guidelines for Industrial practices lik in Safety, Health, Operation & Quality. more

Some things are better kept vague. If a person does it willingly, he will enquire about do's and don'ts of quarantine and follow them. No need to make it very legal/ bookish. more

Desi ANGREZ shouting KOI HAI BIS by its charter, prescribes standards for Manufactured Products. BIS cannot over step its charter. Wish people browse about buzz words before spreading around imperiously. Ms. Vinita Agrawal could have come up with a comprehensive draft guideline for self quarantine at home. If others found it helpful, they would comply with these draft guidelines and advise others to follow them. This would be an example of user defined voluntary standard that becomes defacto standard. more
