BJP Vs AAP+Media

The Delhi Assembly elections has become a contest of BJP Vs AAP+Media. With the complete decimation of the Congress, and whatever little is left also being destroyed after Jayanti Natarajan's revelations yesterday, the Media, seeing the writing on the wall, specially regards their own futures, have decided to put their entire weight and might behind AAP.

The Media very well knows, that, in case Delhi goes the BJP way, there is nothing stopping the BJP painting the whole nation saffron. It is also suffocatingly ironical, that, a 70% Muslim Majority State like J&K sees no issue in having a Hindu (from the BJP) as their Deputy CM for the 1st time in Independent India, but, it seems Media has a serious problem, if BJP coming to power in Hindu majority states, one by one.

It is not that, the Media loves the AAP/Kejriwal. In fact, far from that. They realize that, they (AAP) r uncouth, uncultured and a band of ruffians. They also realize that, this same band who r licking their feet now for Positive Media space, can even lunge at their throats when the time comes.

But, their hatred, dislike and abhorrence for the BJP and it's ideology seems bigger. Does not matter, whether, Indian growth rate is increasing, by the week. Doesnt matter, whether inflation is down, again, by the week. Doesnt matter that, not a single scam these 7-8mnths. Doesnt matter that, International image of India has increased 10 fold, if not a 100 fold, these 7-8mnths. Nothing matters!! Period!!

What matters is Ghar Wapasi and Re-Conversions!!!. Nothing else matters.

A simple and glaring example is, the '5 questions daily' which the BJP is posing AAP.

For the 1st 5 questions, on the 1st day, the Media tore into the BJP, with their own 5 questions, in the pretext of asking AAP those 5 questions, asked by the BJP. In fact even lengthening the discussions beyond scheduled time to increase the time limit for their BJP bashing.

But, they gave just a passing reference to the next 5 questions posed by the BJP yesterday during their News hour Debates.

Unbelievable!!! Simply Unbelievable!!!

I (like many others) was desperately awaiting the 9.00pm News Hour debates on all channels to check in for the debates on these 5 questions, which personally, as per me, were far more serious then the 1st 5 questions. But, it seems Jayanti Natarajan came in as a their savior yesterday. Making me wonder, whether, Jayanti came in to save the day for the Media & AAP from debating these questions, or was it that, Jayanti came in to help the BJP as the Congress, AAP & Media r alleging??

And, If my intuition serves me right, this is likely to continue till elections. Where, the Media is going to resort to some gimmickry or other to avoid debating on the daily 5 questions the BJP is posing to AAP as promised.

Kejriwal wanted a debate. Media lapped it up like a child licks a lollipop. They even accused the great Kiran Bedi of running away from a debate. Barkha, Arnab, Rajdeep, Sagarika were all still suckling their mothers when Kiran Bedi became the 1st Woman Police Officer in the country to lead a Republic Day Parade. Now, Kejriwal, AAP & Media, all have their hands, mouths & mufflers full with the required questions from BJP leading to the required debates.
Now, where is the debate????

My pragmatism tells me for the 1st time that, the going cud be tough for the BJP. Result cud be either way, as it seems. But, this loss (if they loose) might lead to a huge state of anarchy in the country. Since, the BJP, RSS cadre might not accept this unfair result.

Having said that, the 'Daily 5 questions' to the AAP is a Superb Master Stroke by the BJP. Which cud prove a Game Changer.

The Media shud have desisted from taking sides. Now, they might have to bear, if not pay for the consequences. more
