Blatant violation of MRP rules

Please see this attached. Getting charged gst above mrp in bhopal for auto servicing.

Who will take action MP consumer dept or gst dept. Hope by posting here someone will. more

MRP is inclusive of everything either before or after GST. Nothing can be charged above MRP. Also that nothing extra can be charged on discounted MRP. The seller has to consider all the payments before announcing discount. Once dis count is announced nothing extra can be charged. It as per the judgement of the consumer court ,Chandigarh. more

I saw a notification @LocalCircles some time back stating "Under No Circumstances, GST can be charged on MRP. it is already included in MRP. more

Post implementation of GST, the manufacturer or distributor need to affix the revised MRP by a sticker and also advertising the revised MRP in case the MRP has been revised upwards. The consumer need to be able to clearly identify the previous MRP and the revised MRP. As far the content of the author's post is concerned the complaint of charging GST on the MRP is concerned in the state of MP, the complaint may be sent to MP State Controller of Legal Metrology. more
