BODY CAMERAS ON POLICE OFFICIALS
There are numerous cases getting reported daily, where police used brutal force at innocent people, who went to lodge a complaint against some powerful criminal having political & police patronage. Use of brutal forces on people protesting peacefully and Even the cases of rapes and molestation inside Police stations are reported regularly. Every ordinary person is afraid to go to Police station to even file complaint, when citizen have lost their faith on police force itself how can we expect good law and order or how criminals can be apprehended & punished with such a system. Here use of IT technology can comes handy like have done in many developed countries.
I feel to keep police under vigil all police official must use one on body Camera which record all their actions while on duty and if there is any complaint against officer the recording must be verified. In case if Camera is missing or recording is missing it should be accepted that the complaint is true.
All the entry and exit gates and all the rooms specially the interrogation rooms and complaint recording rooms of all police stations must have cameras to record the movements 24 hrs X 365 days. This single step can reduce the complaints against police drastically as when Police people knows that their actions are watched by some body they will behave as per law and shall be afraid to commit unlawful actions and omissions. In long run
I am sure this simple fact can reduce the complaints against police department many fold and make them trustworthy and dependable.
In USA the body camera concept was adopted in year 2012 and after that the complaints against US Police officials fell by 80% as police officers started behaving more humanely and as per law.
In India we have so many complaints against police and pursuing all those complaints is quite difficult. This simple action can reduce the problem many fold. more

Dear NAVNEET SARIN Ji You are right and I agree with you But there is a major difference between to In my opinion society is to enjoy the fruits But the Chokidar is meant rather it is his duty to keep a watch , till the fruits are on dinning table , neither those fruits are are short in quantity nor polluted If any chokidar failed to perform his duty you know better his reward ! India is great but all Indians should be great including the police the taxation employees , RTO employees , the revenue deptt employees, courtiers, the ministers and other employees who do not serve the nation properly should start serving the nation and the public. Government have various sources of income how to spent where to spent should be in managed way. more

Your idea and spreading awareness among citizen of India is truly great. One day this idea will definitely be implemented. In India all the deptt has different types of problems. I expects Modi government to bring reform in police like armed forces. Both the forces are wearing uniform,medals. But why so much disparity ? This is due to lack of sacrifice in leadership.
