I absolutely agree what is written by Sudarshan. There should some control mechanism in the country more
Sudarshan Venkataraman I am a libertarian mind who thinks, Government should have very limited role in protecting the country by keeping military and police, providing clean water, clean air, good road maintenance, making sure that citizens have a safety net when they fall on hard times. Besides that let free economy work. When they mess with more, that is when you get socialism like we have had before. There is so much more to advertising in all sorts of products that are not true but you can not start using China tactics by dictating it. So will you should have gone after the faith healers like mother Teresa too. She claimed to heal all sort of medical conditions. more
Yoga, and herbs good. Sole proprietorship attempts thereto bad. Ramdev referred to doctors as "God's envoys on Earth". Now changed his mind? https://www.indiatoday.in/india/story/baba-ramdev-changes-his-mind-says-will-take-covid-jab-calls-doctors-gods-envoys-1813399-2021-06-10 more
I have tried Patanjali products and decided quite a while ago to discontinue usage for my own benefit. Many of the products make tall claims and as far as Ayurved is concerned, their products are an insult to our ancient studies. Lala Ramdev and Lala Balkrishna (emphasis added) are politically connected coterie of businessmen who thrive on confidence trickstery in the garb of following traditional systems of medicine. Better checks and balances are needed to control such menace to society. more
Yes that is true one does not its efficacy with nothing to back up and how govt is turning blind eye towards it.looks like there is politics behind it and they may be funding the govt .Since no one has reported any adverse hence govt as usual does not act anything proactively whereas only when an issue is reported some adverse similar to the recent deaths of cough syrup exported to african countries and ukraine and after which those companies under investigation was banned but it got a bad name for India and WHO also was involved.govt should proactively act on the same more
