Boost Exports for strengthening rupee

I support Govt restricting imports on some luxury items to reduce dollar demand and outflow and boost the rupee but the thought process must also focus on boosting exports. That is a much better way of strengthening rupeee and not having an anti India narrative globally.

What I dont understand is why is our commerce minister at this time busy inaugurating Gold summit?

He should instead focus on limiting gold imports and meeting with exporters to boost exports. Gold and Diamond import restriction for a month till Oct end is something I totally support personally.

There r large deposits of petroleum in and around India Exploration and extraction was neglected in UPA rule to amass commission from oil purchases. The same lethargy continues till date which is incomprehensible.. The solution for strengthening Rupee.. 1. Go for electrical vehicles in a war footing 2. Changing to LED lighting on war footing 3. New petroleum findings within our land mass 4. Increased mass coal production despite hullobullo over global warming 5. Encouraging foreign remittances by incentives Will go on more
Sir, If Gold is not imported smuggling will prosper - Gold and Diamonds usually create more exports - Indian skills are well appreciated allover the world - So they increase exports - Reduce non-essential imports should be studied more seriously more
Good Morning. The Chamchas of a Binami Politician aspiring to rule Tamilnadu has again disconnected electricity connection in my house at Midnight and this is repeated every alternate day. My 83 year's old sick mother is gasping for breath. This is a single bedroom apartment and I don't have space even to install an invertor. In the second floor, an IT wing of the said Party is working all the 24 hour's and they have electricity. If we harassed like this daily with ulterior motive's to grab our flat, for their illegal activities, I have to represent my grievance only to you Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji, as My Mother and I are the Citizen's under your Rule. May I earnestly appeal to you Respected Sir to direct the Tamilnadu Government to look into our grievance and resolve. For the political vendetta of a newly elected THALAIVAR, we are made Scapegoat. more

Yesterday night around 11.45 PM, my mother had a low Sugar syndrome and I gave her milk. Now she needs her coffee and Medicines, as she is a chronic Diabetic. If that Thalaivar's Parent's are in old age, there is a big crowd outside hospital and medical bulletin was released every hour. My mother too is old and we are punished like this every alternate day. Is there any disparity between old age parent's? How can this happen and do the Chamchas have no brain? This may happen to their family tomorrow. Already we know that the said thalaivar, sliced off the head of his own driver family including a small baby of the driver ruthlessly, two decades ago. more

Goid summit support is not the only paradox. While the intention to restrict non-essential imports was announced-- simultaneously and adjoining this item was another showing a HEADPHONE in Pune COSTING Rs. 50 lakhs. Not a word about restricting luxury cars. more
